Hello my name is Fun . I am a new member of staff. I have been a day-care officer for the last 8 years working with elderly people.
My new role with Swansea Chinese Community Co-op Centre is to work with other member of staff to promote health and well being. I will be leading the Befriending Group to a more active and healthy lifestyle.
My near future action plans are:
*Regular weekly Chair-based exercise
*Craft session after exercise
*Day trips and short walks

St David’s Day Event 1st March 1pm – 3.30pm Swan Gardens

This is a national day for the local Welsh people. They celebrate the day dressed in bright Welsh costume, serve traditional food such as Welsh cakes, cockles with laver bread (a type of sea weed) and cowl(lamb stew). In this event I will demonstrate how to make Welsh cake and anyone wants to learn are welcome to have a go.
There will be a competition for the best dressed Welsh costume, so start hunting for your Welsh outfit now!

We would like to see more members joining the Befriending group, and welcome any suggestions that you may have on what you would like to do, we will do our best to accommodate all suggestions.
